Hello Packer fans, can anyone tell me why this team can look so good against Dallas but lay a gigantic egg against Tampa Bay? According to Daryn Colledge the team had what he called a "come to Jesus" meeting". Everyone aired out their grievances and took responsibilty for their own shortcomings. Well if that's what it takes great. My next question is " why did it take so long?" Why didn't it happen after the first Minnesota game where they feasted on Rodgers all day long? This team has allowed 40 + sacks in just 9 games. The 4 by Dallas I think is the lowest total for a game so far this season. Hopefully, this is the turning point for the Pack. With games against a surging but still beatable 49er team and the Thanksgiving game against Detroit they can get to 7 wins which could help get this team on a possible play-off track. You have to wonder if things in Titletown will change if things don't keep improving. Just a few weeks ago, almost every local sports program was calling for the ouster of Thompson & McCarthy. Now with the Dallas win they are everyone's darlings again. I have always tried to be upfront with my feelings about the team. I try to call it as I see it. As I see it now, this team has to keep succeeding and improving in order for Ted and Mike to stay with the Packers. 6-10, 7-9,8-8 isn't going to cut it. There are rumors swirling in the blogosphere that feelers have gone out to Holmgren and Gruden to see if they would be interested in coming back to Green Bay.The rumors also mention Mike Shanahan and Bill Cowher. Nothing from the coaches so far, but it makes one wonder if Mark Murphy is getting pressure from board members and fans tired of mediocrity.
Only time will tell my friends. But enough about what I think. How about it Packer Nation? How do you feel? I'd really like to get your feedback on this. Well that's enough for now gang. Until next time Packer Fans, SEEE YAAA!!!!
