Hello Packer Fans, well it looks like Favre had the last laugh on Ted Thompson as the Vikes beat us again.Didn't look old and washed up there as he took command of Lambeau Field. But then again, he wasn't sacked 5 times either. Once again the offensive line played like a sieve and Aaron Rodgers was running for his life again. It also dosen't help when your special teams give up over 200 return yds or your defense can't hold containment. Rodgers has played well enough to have won both games. Unfortunately the rest of the team has not. Too many stupid penalties again. Especially the one on Jolly. If he holds his temper Minnesota has to settle for a field goal attempt on 4th and 5. Instead they get 1st and goal on the one and viola! 7-3 Vikes. You really don't mind the aggressive penalties but the stupid ones are what is killing this team. Now the question is " How do you fix this"? Maybe one step in the right direction came from a report out of Green Bay that Clifton and Tauscher have taken most of the 1st team snaps this week in practice. If these can get back to the form that helped keep Favre upright when he was here, maybe A-Rod can take a little less punishment. The rest is up to the coaching staff. Time to kick butt and take names. Let these players know that sloppy football CANNOT be tolerated anymore! There is enough time left in this season to make a statement and possibly a playoff spot. The division might well be settled unless Minnesota takes an unexpected tumble. Hopefully these players get their act together and become a team. Let's hope so. Until next week my friends, SEEEEE YAAAAA!!!!
