Both lines stink so, Pack sinks

Hello Packer Fans, In the most anticipated game of this young season the Brett Favre led Vikes beat our beloved Pack 30-23. But had both the Offensive and Defensive lines for Green Bay showed up and played it could have been a whole differnt outcome. The o-line let Aaron Rodgers get sacked 8 times one of which resulted in a safety. The way these guys are playing Ted Thompson better keep the numbers of free agent quarterbacks like Jeff Garcia and Brian Griese handy because Rodgers is going to end up crippled before the season ends. These lineman ought to be ashamed of themselves. How can you let your qb get mauled week after week? Thank God Aaron has some mobility or it could have been worse. In all fairness, Rodgers could have avoided some of them if he had thrown the ball away a few times. But this is becomming sickening. Rodgers has been sacked over 20 times already this season and the season is only 1/4 over. At this rate he is going to sacked 80+ times! In a bit of light at the end of the tunnel, Chad Clifton should be ready to go after the bye week and the team had Mark Tauscher in for a workout Tuesday. Indications are that Tausch looked good and the only thing preventing him from rejoining Green Bay is getting the contract details ironed out. If he can get back up to speed we might see him against Detroit or at least the next game after that. On to the d-line. Farve had all day to find open receivers. On one possesion he had over 7 and a half seconds to find an open man. 7 AND A HALF SECONDS!!!! Rodgers didn't have 7 and a half seconds in the pocket all night!!! This sure dosen't look like the same group that tore up the preseason. I think the Aaron Kampmann experiment is failing miserably. Kampmann is a pass rusher. I mean he has a great teacher in Kevin Greene but, I think it takes a certain mentality to be that guy. Aaron is a "hand on the ground" and turn it loose kind of guy. Hopefully during the bye week the coaching staff can tweak a few things and get this tean turned around. Well that's all for now gang. Enjoy the bye and I will see you in 2 weeks "From the Cheap Seats"!
