Hello all of you loyal Football ^FAN^atics!

Here are my questions as the 2009 NFL season is rapidly approaching. The first preseason Packers game is Saturday August 15th hosting the Cleveland Browns at the venerable Lambeau Field. Game time is scheduled for 8:00 PM. Will the return of Brett Favre to the NFL in a Minnesota Viking uniform become a reality? With his love of playing in this sport, that is in his blood?

The answer is... .................................................................................................................

.................................................................................................................

.................................................................................................................

Let us NOT getting too hasty in answering that question. He probably will, but his age becomes a serious factor that this former Packers great should consider before he wears the Minnesota Vikings (NFC North division, same as the Packers) helmet. With future Hall of Famer, Brett Favre’s past excellent playing ability, help or hinder the archrival that he was in wearing the #4 jersey of the Vikings? However, let us talk about Mr. Aaron Rodgers #18, whom Brett Favre mentored for his first three seasons learning under as his backup. Mr. Rodgers wants other NFL teams “Not to spend a pleasant day in his neighborhood.” Eventhough, he had an exceptional season last year, Aaron Rodgers, doesn’t want the other teams that the Pack competes against to know his every move that he makes during the game. Will #18 have a great season that he had last year or will other teams throughout the league be able to predict his plays and/or moves that he intends on making?

Did the Chicago Bears prove to the league that the trade that they made was indeed a wise decision? In that trade they acquired Jay Cutler from the AFC’s Denver Broncos. I can’t remember if or when the Bears had the services of a quarterback of his stature within the NFL! For his final season with the Broncos, he completed 762-of-1,220 passes (62.5 percent) for 9,024 yards, 25 TDs and 11 INTs for a QB rating of 87.1. In 2008, became just the third player in NFL to reach the 4,500-yard passing mark in one of his first three seasons, joining Dan Marino (1984) and Drew Bledsoe (1994)...Not even John Elway attained this illustrious point in the NFL history books.

DETROIT LIONS
2009 DRAFT CLASS

· QB Matthew Stafford (Georgia)

COLLEGE: Next on this article, will the #1 draft pick QB Matthew Stafford of Georgia was considered by many as the most “NFL ready” quarterback in the 2009 draft. Will this QB guarantee the Detroit Lions to at least win one (1) or more games this season?

I’ll speak at you in my next article... Louie (LOUUP)
