Hello all of you loyal Football ^FAN^atics,
It seems like all the talk in the NFL is focused on the Packers legend “4-Ever.” I’ll just briefly report on that top headline news story in the league, plus whatelse has been going on the famous NFC north division.
With most of the league talking about Favre retiring, it can‘t be too easy for the legend as well as his successor, Aaron Rodgers? I can’t imagine the Green Bay Packers being quarterbacked that doesn‘t carry the number 4 on his jersey.
With the numerous different scenarios going on in the league with the Packers, Brett should seriously think of a trade, liked I mentioned before. I can’t imagine a lifelong nemesis (Vikings) even considering a trade, but they have been known to “tamper” with other players throughout various NFL teams rosters.
I rued out Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a long shot of acquiring #4, after watching “NFL LIVE.” Their one commentator stated that TB’s signal calling is not anything that Brett could get used too or use. TB’s terminology is so lengthy, along with being elaborate; most players take quite a few games to get accustomed to using it. And that doesn’t account for the practice time.
Well that is enough of my rambling on about the Packers and now to fill you in about the other teams in the NFC’s North division.
In quite a few peoples mind, the Chicago Bears drafted the “most impressive” rookie RB that goes by the name of Matt Forte. As a senior in college at Tulane, he Collected second-team All-America honors from Sports Illustrated and third-team All-America accolades from the Associated Press. Also, he started all 12 games that Tulane played. The most impressive veteran is none than the Packer’s Aaron Rodgers. His strong throwing arm is phenomenal.
Who’s in the “Hot Seat?” Well it is no other that the Detroit Lions headcoach, Rod Marinelli. With Mike Martz being gone, the Lions should have to focus on learning how to run the ball. Another concern of theirs is, stopping the run of opposing teams.
Of course, you all should know of the Green Bay Packer’s. Their major concern is, will Aaron Rodgers be at helm instead of the legendary #4? I’m sure that the Pack will have to rely on the tremendous running ability that 2nd year running back Ryan Grant (956 yds) showed in the 2007 season.
The Vikings receivers must make plays so they are able to be competitive in this division as well as the league.
Talk to you soon............. Louie (LOUUP)
