Here is a Packer needs analysis:
For a team that had the top offense in the NFC, the Packers still have several offensive needs. Brett Favre's retirement put a huge hole at quarterback. Their starting QB for the 2008 season, (Aaron Rodgers) has to assume the position, but the Packers lack an adequate backup for him. With Aaron’s has limited playing time, it is reasonably safe to assume that he might be injury-prone. Plus, the loss of Bubba Franks creates a void at the backup TE spot and with both starting OTs in there 30s, the team could use a young tackle. Al Harris along with Charles Woodson, who are both aging and the young reserves have not shown they are capable of starting.
Also in each future round, is the draft pick assigned for the Green Bay Packers:
Round 1 Pick 30 (30)
Round 2 Pick 25 (56)
Round 2 Pick 29 (60)
Round 3 Pick 28 (91)
Round 4 Pick 29 (128)
Round 4 Pick 36 (135)
Round 5 Pick 27 (162)
Round 7 Pick 30 (237)
Brett Favre is still the talk on a few radio stations that cater to sport aficionados or fanatics, as he definitely put an excellent impression on the sport announcers who talk about sports and football in general. I am still waiting for the headlines to say: “#4ever Favre”
I’ll talk to you again with more NFL news. AFTER WHILE... Louie (LOUUP)
