Hello once again Packer fans! It took 3-1/2 quarters but, the Packer defense came up big as the Pack beats KC 33-22. 2 key interceptions, the first by AJ Hawk and then the 2nd by Charles Woodson for a TD that put the game away with under 2 minutes to play. At first it didn't seem like Green Bay brought it's "A" game mustering only 2 field goals by Mason Crosby in the first half. Brett Favre had a terrible 1st half throwing a key interception that led to a Chiefs td before the end of the half. But Favre came through in the 2nd with another long TD to that scoring machine, Greg Jennings. A 60 yarder that took the wind right out of the Chiefs defense. Also, it was nice to see Koren Robinson get in the game and make a few plays.Hopefully he will hit his stride during the stretch run for the play-offs. You can never have too many weapons down the stretch. The d-line played very well most of the game ,sacking KC qb Damon Huard on several occasions and holding rb Larry Johnson to about 60 yds before he was injured. My concern is that Atari Bigby seems to be backsliding a bit since the beginning of the season.Another week with a pass interference call and getting a 3rd degree burn on a td by Gonzalez. Once again the weakness of this team was exposed. TE Tony Gonzalez gashed the Pack for 109 yds and a Td. Why does it seem that they can't cover the Tight End? Defensive coordinator Bob Sanders better come up with a solution before this unit runs up against a more powerful offense such as the surprising Detroit Lions or the Dallas cowboys. Especially the Cowboys. Forget about T.O., if perennial Pro-Bowl TE Jason Witten is left to roam free he and Tony Romo will bury the Packers on Nov. 29th. But maybe I'm looking too far ahead. First we have to stop Rookie of The Year candidate Adrian Peterson and the Viqueens at Lambeau this coming Sunday. Peterson looks to be the real deal. He ran amok against San Diego this week. There are more than a few GM's that wish they hadn't passed on this kid. The only good thing going for the defense this week is that Minnesota dosen't really have a decent quaterback in case they do stop Peterson. I can't imagine too many defnsive coordinators losing any sleep about the likes of Tavaris Jackson. Brooks Bollinger, or Kelly Holcomb. Well gang, I guess we should savor win #7 and get ready for next week. Until next time my friends, SEEEEE YAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
