Hello all of you loyal Football ^FAN^atics,
I was watching my favorite show on ESPN called “NFL LIVE” yesterday, so I took quite a few notes and did some research to write a complete article. I learned that the NFL draft officially begins on April 28 and finishes on the 29th.
The Pittsburgh Steelers team physician admits $150,000 worth of HGH (performance enhancing drug)
As stated by the Rooney’s (Pittsburgh Steelers owners): “We are aware that Rydze gives elderly player HGH... Dr. Richard Rydze: “I mean, they have my trust that I would never do this with an athlete.”
“I first became aware of the investigation involving Dr. Richard Rydze on 2/27 in the afternoon. I immediately called Dr. Richard Rydze, who’s been our medical staff for many years. He acknowledged that he had a visit at his office a couple of months ago from FDA officials. Dr. Rydze said the agents made inquires about his practice and his purchases from a pharmacy in Florida. Dr. Rydze was told that he is not the target of investigation. There is no evidence that Dr. Richard Rydze prescribed or provided any hormone treatments to any of our players. Dr. Rydze has assured me that this has never happened and will never happen.” Art Rooney III (Steelers President)
I just bet that Packer fans are eagerly waiting to see Brett Favre perform after his ankle surgery on 02/26/2007. Here is a Statements From Packers GM "Ted Thompson"
“Quarterback Brett Favre underwent minor ankle surgery that morning in Green Bay. The procedure went as expected and he is recovering at this time. The chief surgeon didn’t expect any complications and that he would be cleared to participate in off-season workouts similar to his schedule in 2006."
On the same day, he released this to the press and was displayed on PackersNews.com: “The, Packers General Manager Ted Thompson acknowledged the team has needs at wide receiver. The Packers might target Oakland WR Randy Moss or take a receiver in the first round of the NFL Draft. Georgia Tech's Calvin Johnson, who, at 6-foot-5 and 239 pounds, increased his stock after he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds. The Packers biggest rival in their division, the Minnesota Vikings, released their last year starting quarterback (Brad Johnson). Also released are: Eric Moulds--from the Houston Texans Wide Receiver
Brian Simmons--from the Cincinnati Bengals Linebacker
Zach Wiegart--from the Houston Texans Guard
Not too much else to squeeze into this artcle, so I will end my typing. Until my next article, Louie (LOUUP)
