TITLE: NFL draft info!
Hello all of you loyal Football ^FAN^atics,
Hello al you football fans! Some very important news concerning your future Hall of Fame quarterback is he will still wear #4 as he returns to QB the Green Bay Packers this season. I lost some money in a bet to a very close friend on whether Brett Favre would play this season. It just proved to me, that most people could renege on their words! With knowing how truthful Brett Favre is, he isn’t standing up to his words. Obviously, he wants to prove to the other teams in the NFL, that last season was just a fluke and expects this season to be completely different!
How long did the Green Bay Packers know about his decision? Did they know for awhile to confuse other teams? Or did he look at a completely sane scenario and consider his wife's medical condition?
Enough about that so I will give a report on the whole league. The following 2006 draft information I took from the NFL.com Website.
Here is something that I inadvertently forgot to mention in my previous article. The Arizona Cardinals appear in their first appearance on Monday Night Football since 1999. That night is when they face the Chicago Bears on Oct. 16 at Cardinals Stadium. It is only the Cardinals' third Monday night appearance in 12 seasons.
The Green Bay Packers have released wide receiver Terrence Murphy on April 21st. It all stemmed from his not recovering from a bruised spinal cord sustained, which he received in a game against Carolina last Oct. 3 when the Panthers’ Thomas Davis hit him helmet-to-helmet.
As was reported on Sunday April 17, 2006 on the official NFL.com Website. It said that 2006 would be the first year of broadcasting 5 NFL games and the 2006 NFL draft live on the official NFL Network. Day 1 of the live 71st NFL draft is going to be carried completely from beginning to end.
