It is back to football this Sunday for the Packers. I don’t know who needed the bye week more, the Packers or their fans? In any case, it is now or never for the Packers to salvage their season. In a terrible division the Packers could be right back in the mix with a few wins. This week is a must win situation for the Packers. With a victory the Packers will improve to a 2-4 record. It also will give them their first win in divisional games. Five of their last eleven games will be against divison rivals, so again, it’s now or never! The Packers are facing their archrivals the Minnesota Vikings. Even though the Vikings have become the laughing stock of the NFL on and off the field, I expect a hard fought game. I expect this game to go down to the fourth quarter, hopefully with a Packers win.
To get a win this week the Packers can’t shoot themselves in the foot. No fumbles, no interceptions, no missed tackles should equal a victory. Brett Favre has played very well in the last 2 games because he’s made better decisions. He can’t go back to tossing pop fly passes hoping for his receiver to make a play or trying to drill it in double coverage. If Brett doesn’t turn it over, I like the Packers chances this week. The Packers have the Bengals and Steelers in the following weeks, so this game is a must win for the Pack!
Until next time, STAY SAFE!
