Greetings all you football fans!

I watched the Packers versus the Lions yesterday to get some notes so I could write an informative article. It’s clearly apparent that all the Packer players as well as the teams coaches need to have a meeting so they can devise a plan to show their faces in Lambeau Field again!

Watching that game immediately a few thoughts came to mind. The main thought was, abolishing all the preseason games. How many other professional sports do not have a preseason? The NHL, MLB and NBA don’t! Need I go on? I got that thought after witnessing both of those teams that looked so unorganized in almost all of their plays. I am under the understanding that preseason football games were to get the jitters out of players so they can actually compete in the game that they love. Last night both teams first string players finally go to play the whole game and they looked pitiful. It was very obvious that the preseason games didn’t get their point across to all the games players. There were far too many penalties in that game, although the referees earned their money officiating that game! Besides that, the quarterbacks weren’t in sync with their main go-to guys!

The NFL has been debating about getting away from preseason football games for some time and that game is a prime example of saying goodbye to it. Preseason football games are supposed to give the players a precedent of what to do or NOT to do. With all the injuries that occur in the preseason games inflicted on their players, that should be another main reason why the NFL should end that injury ridden circumstance.
