"Announcement!"

Hello all you football fans! I was watching TV yesterday and was tuned into “WJMN” while watching the news. An announcement was made concerning perhaps the best wide receiver in the NFL has ever seen playing that position.

Jerry Rice signed for a 1-year contract, for his 22nd year in the NFL, with the Denver Broncos. He wasn’t guaranteed to have an opening start in his famous position but he has another opportunity to prove to his much younger constituents that his craftiness is still one of his amazing weapons! Just imagine, if former QB John Elway was getting the snap of the football, what would the Denver Broncos be like this year!?! It appears that he will be around for another 20 years!!!..................................HA! HA! HA!

As an exceptional wide receiver, Jerry Rice, has added a whole new aspect to the Denver Broncos. Besides their magnificent running program, now teams playing against them will have to take into consideration the passing game, even though, they don’t have QB John Elway passing him the football.

Other worthy news around the league, is about a team in the same division as the Green Bay Packers. That team is the Minnesota Vikings who seem to always be a formidable foe of the Green Bay Packers in the Black-and-Blue division. The following is taken from NFL.com homepage: “Shortly after being welcomed into the NFL as the new owner of the Minnesota Vikings, New Jersey real-estate developer Zygmunt Wilf pledged that the team would "be in the Minneapolis area forever."

"I'm not changing that at all," said Wilf, who leads a group that has agreed to purchase the team for $600 million from Red McCombs.

He had no specifics on the location of a new venue, other than to say he and the rest of his ownership group are "exploring different options in the Minneapolis area." There is a possibility that the Vikings, who play in the Metrodome, would move to an open-air venue.”

That was an excellent article, fellow journalist Jim Bacik! How does Javon Walker even compare his professional GAME ability with every young person in the Armed Forces defending this God loving country? For those who haven’t read it, please, spend a few minutes to read that worthy article!

Gods Peace and Love to you! Sincerely, LOU^U.P.^
