This Sunday’s game against the Bears should be an opportunity that the Packers needed. Being that the Packers are “locked in” as the third seed, the game against the Bears won’t affect the playoff picture. This is an opportunity for Coach Sherman to find some answers before the playoffs. First, he should start Jue instead of Roman at safety. In my opinion, Jue can’t be worse because Roman has been horrendous! Secondly, let Favre start the game and bring in Craig Nall for the second half or sooner. The third opportunity is to experiment with coverages in obvious passing downs. The defense hasn’t had success blitzing, so why not try the opposite? By that I mean, rush 3 linemen, have Barnett cover the running back out of the backfield and drop the rest in coverage. This will force the quarterback to throw into double coverage for each of his receivers. The last thing I would do is to give the younger players some playing time, especially on defense! I also feel terrible about the passing of Reggie White, what a shame! It just proves that we never know when our time is up. Keeping that in mind, we should try and enjoy life while we can. Most of all enjoy the people in our lives! Until next time, STAY SAFE!
