The only way to get the bad taste of a humiliating loss is to go out the very next game and dominate your next opponent and that is exactly what the Packers did to the Lions in their 38-10 victory. Brett Favre had a decent game with 257 yds and 2 tds but, more important was the fact that he didn''t turn the ball over. In fact, NO One on offense turned the ball over. This looked like a very balanced attack even though Ahman Green had only a little over 80 yds rushing. But we can forgive him because he threw a very nice option pass td to offensive star of the day WR Donald Driver. Driver came up big on a day when Robert Ferguson was inactive due to injury and Javon Walker, the teams most prolific receiver, went down with a rib injury and played sparingly after that. This was a huge win on many different levels. #1. Green Bay has always had trouble playing indoors. #2. This ended the 4 game losing streak. And #3. They did it with offensive coordinator Tom Rossely back home in Green Bay recovering from an emergency Angioplasty. With the loss of Mark Hatley already this year you know this had to weigh heavily on Mike Sherman. If it was on The mind of the Coach you would not have known it. He stepped in and called a very good game. Rossely might have to watch his step if Sherman starts to enjoy calling the shots. Just Kidding. The defense played it''s best game since the opener against Carolina. Darren Sharper picked off a Joey Harrington pass and ran it back 35 yds for a score. But I also noticed that if Harrington had been on target with at least 5 of his passes he would have lit up rookie DB Ahmad Carroll like a Christmas tree. Maybe the fact that the D-Line was putting pressure on Harrington had something to do with it. I certainly hope so. It was a pure joy to watch this team smile and have fun for a change.

Now on to the announcers. What the heck is Brian Baldinger''s problem? He kept calling Darren Sharper Jamie. Both he and Dan Miller had trouble keeping down and distance straight. They called Favre Starr on a couple of occasions. Don''t these guys do their homework? Hopefully someone at Fox will talk to these two and get them to get their heads in the game. Now we await the arrival of the Dallas Cowboys in Lambeau next week. Hopefully this win will get the Team back on the winning track and give the HOME fans something to cheer about. Until next week Packer Fans......................................SEEEEEE YA!!!!!!!!
