What happened in the 3rd quarter of the14-7 loss to the Giants was a dark look of what is to come. Mike Sherman and his staff REALLYneed to address the back-up quarterback positon and soon. With Favre out with a concussion, Doug Pederson did not even come close to showing us fans that he is capable of leading the team in Brett''s absence. The Tim Couch experiment failed miserably and Craig Nall is still a work in progress. But of what I saw after Brett left, I would prefer Nall. His passes were tight and on target. How many times did Pederson under or over throw his receivers? Say what you want about Favre, but today proved that the Pack needs him if they are going to turn this season around . The most devastating injury on offense other than the Favre concussion is the loss of center Mike Flanagan to a knee injury. Grey Ruegemer can do an adequate job if he can just play within in himself and stay away from dumb penalties like the 15 yd. late hit. With all the injuries, especially to the Defense, this appears to be a team without direction. The Giants had the answers to almost every defensive scheme thrown at them, Kurt Warner looked, for the most part, like the 2 time MVP that he once was. RB Tiki Barber just chewed up the Lambeau turf all day long.Add to that the poor coverage, missed tackles and dumb penalties and you can see why there is a 3 game losing streak. Thank God that Giants kicker Steve Christie shanked 3 Field Goals or the final score would have been much worse.Bob Slowik has got to come up with different plans of attack especially with 3 starters missing on his squad. The strangest injury appears to be to the most unhappy Packer Camper, Mike McKenzie. Supposedly he has a hamsrting problem. I wonder how much that hamstring would be hurting if he had gotten his wish for a new contract or a trade. The road to winning surely is not going to be any easier when the Tennessee Tiatns come to Lambeau next monday. Well gang, I think we had all better get down on our collective knees and pray to St. Lombardi for the guidance and desire to pull the Pack up off the ground and send them in the right direction. Until next week my friends...................See Ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
