Dear Fellow & Loyal Football Fans,

I have been almost glued to my TV set watching alot of football recently but I wanted to post an article ever since the NFL teams have been wearing number 40 on their helmets!! On 4/24/04, I posted an article about Pat Tilman who was killed defending this country. With his untimely death in Afghanistan, he was a member of the Army Rangers, it is my personal opinion that the whole NFL should tell the teams to keep wearing his number on their helmets!

I was amazed seeing how determined Mark Fields of the Carolina Panthers is not succumbing to Hodgkin’s disease! Just hearing the "C" word, would of been devastating to most NFL players but not with the great attitude he has!

Last season, he was told about his condition but this year he is playing for that squad, as the type of cancer he has, is in remission. I pray that it stays in remission and he is able to keep succeeding in the game he loves as well as in life!

Gods Peace and Love to you! Sincerely, LOU^U.P.^
