Dear Fellow & True Football Fans,
As part of my "Training Camp," I spent a few minutes watching "NFL LIVE" on ESPN2 before watching the Thursday night game and got these tidbits from that show on TV! Trey Wingo and Sean Salsibury were the commentators!!
They talked for about 5 minutes about the latest buzz going around the NFL. Will Deion Sanders make a comeback this season? They said that his hamstrings were bothering him, thus were a major part of his decision! My assumption is, he should try, not only to prove to younger running-backs that the older you get, the more knowledgeable you become of the game winning techniques!
Then during the game a commentator said, Minnesota Vikings, Onterrio Smith has been suspended for 4 games! Any player in the NFL needs to not do any type of drugs or alcohol that aren’t prescribed by a doctor as they are being watched by the fans as well as the league officials scrutinizing everything they do on or off the field of play! Also, Pittsburgh Steelers Kendall Simmons, #73, is out for 2004-05 season as he has a torn ACL. He has been with that team for all of his three year career.
I am very anxious to park my butt on the couch to hear "Are You Ready For Some Football?" as the Green Bay Packers play their first game of this season against the Carolina Panthers on September 13th. That should be a very fascinating game to watch as the Packers are trying to defeat the reigning NFC champs!
Gods Peace and Love to you! Sincerely, LOU^U.P.^
