I was watching "NFL LIVE" on ESPN2 the previous 2 or 3 days and got these tidbits from that show on TV! Trey Wingo and Sean Salsibury were the commentators!!

Will Drew Brees capitalize on the circumstances in San Diego with #1 draft pick Philip Rivers not being signed by the Chargers as of yet this season? The hidden man coaching the very talented Drew Brees is in my mind an extremely talented Doug Flute! My assumption is, it can’t be money that is behind this matter, afterrall, they just signed LaDainian Thomlinson to a record setting contract. That contract is 60 million dollars for 6 years for their running-back!

I was watching the Monday Night Football game being played at the "new" Lambeau Field yesterday and I was shocked to see the Green Bay Packers lose at home to the Seattle Seahawks, Not! Before that game even started, I predicted that the Green Bay Packers would lose. However, my predicted score wasn’t correct as I wrote Green Bay Packers 21 vs. Seattle Seahawks 24. Tim Couch didn’t look too good in his playing ability. So Brett Favre needs to teach him alot more of his magnificent skills!

It is very hard to believe that Brett Favre has had 208 straight starts in the NFL! With each game that he starts at QB, it adds to the NFL record that he owns! He definitely is the driving force of their offense, but Ahman Green is the running-back that is a close second to him!

Does Mike Sherman need a street named after him like Mike Holmgren and Brett Favre do to take the Packers to Superbowl XXXIX? Mike Holmgren surely has elevated the Seahawks, as they might be Superbowl bound if Shaun Alexander keeps showing the consistence that he displayed last night!
