The Mississippi State Patrol stated that Irvin Favre died of a apparent heart attack or stoke while driving in Mississippi. Favre’s car went off the road at approximately 5:23 PM and he was pronounced dead at 6:15 PM. An autopsy will be performed on Monday to determine the definitive cause of death. Witnesses, the ambulance and the hospital were unable to revive Irvin Farve.

Packers spokesperson stated that Favre's status will be questionable for tommorrow nights game against the Oakland Raiders.
