No Spreads Week - Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone enjoyed the Packers 20-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers yesterday. The Packers offense and defensive lines were the keys to this victory. We had push on both sides of the ball.

I am glad to see that Terrell Owens was held in check all game except for one pass that lead to the 49ers only touchdown. This TD pass was right after a Larry Smith 15 yard un-sportsman-like conduct penalty when Smith hit Rattay on a play that was blown dead on a illegal procedure call on the 49ers. Other than this glitch, the Packers kept the 49ers out of the end zone even after turnovers in Packer territory. Great job Packer defense!

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the visitors and columnists of this web site a happy thanksgiving. PackerIQ.com thanks all of you for participating and supporting this web site. We hope you enjoy this time with your family.

This week is a “no spread” week in the PackerIQ.com picks contest. The games are ready to pick now. This decision was to allow people to pick this week’s games early as possible so they can enjoy the Thanksgiving with their families and not worry about missing a week in the picks contest.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Steve Jackle
