Sloppy play leads to messy loss

Just when it looked like the Green and Gold playoff train was back on track the Pack plays a hidiously poor game against Philly. 6 fumbles, 1 pick and lousy play by the defense on the Eagle's last drive and you can see why they lost 17-14. Why go into a "prevent defense" when the regular game plan was working? And the refs missed a blatant hold on the last Eagle Td. Stevie Wonder could have seen that one!I don't know if the weather played a big part in Brett's inability to hold on to the ball or his injury, but at least they did something to Ahman Green after his 3rd fumble by changing his arm pads. If the splint he was wearing was the cause then why didn't the trainers find something different to try on the thumb? Cutting the thumb off a of receiver's glove and taping it in place comes to mind. How can this team play it's guts out in Minneapolis and then lay down at home in so-called "Packer Weather"? The first 3 possesions were an omen when it looked like they could move the ball at will only to cough it up. This team has GOT to take advantage of every break while taking care of the ball. Are the playoffs just wishful thinking now? Not really. But if this team dosen't get it's act together and fast it will be. Til next time gang...............SEE YA!!!!
