How's it going gang?!! What an awesome Monday night game! The Packers ruined the grand re-openning of Soldier Field with a 38-23 romp over "Da Bears".Ahman Green was very rude to his hosts by running up 176 yards on 19 carries for 2 tds. That comes out to 9.3 yards per carry!! Nice job Ahman!! Brett also hacked away with 3 td passes and if it weren't for 2 bad calls the score wouldn't even had been that close!!What ever happened to the pride of the Bears? By that I mean their so called "Monsters of the Midway" defense. Except for 1 interception they were pretty much a non factor in this game.It could have been better for the Bears if their overpaid, overated, and generally outplayed defensive back R.W, McQuarters knew how to hang on to a ball. In post game interviews McQuarters had the audacity to criticize Bear fans for getting all over his team for the way they played. Well "DUH??!! R.W. After the 13-3 season of 2 years ago when you and the D could do no wrong and the offense was just good enough (except against our beloved Packers) to get to the playoffs this team has gone straight down the crapper. Not that we in Packer Nation are complaining. We love that you can stink up entire stadiums ( even outdoor ones) just by showing up.I hope they never get rid of Head Coach Dick Jauron or offensive coordinator ( Now there's a laugh) John "I know, let's put in the option" Shoop. A little advice John, you are coaching a NFL team not East Cupcake State of Division IIIIIIIIA. I was impressed by our defense except for letting Anthony Thomas romp for a 67 yd td. Na'll Diggs had an exceptional game with bone jarring tackles and ,if I'm not mistaken, 2 picks. Had the officiating been better I think they could have held Chicago to just 3 points. The bad spot on Henderson's 4th down run was awful as was the fumble that was not called on Marty Booker.at the goaline. I like the fact that the Coaching staff took a few chances in order to get into the Bears heads. Hopefully this staff will continue to keep teams guessing so that they can never get comfortable when playing us. Well that's all for now gang, Mike Holmgren comes back to Lambeau with the Seahawks and hopefully we can send him packing with their1st loss of the season. Til next week Packer fans..............SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
