“We’ll get it fixed”

Mike Sherman spoke the words “we’ll get it fixed” in his Monday press conference, again! Didn’t Ray Rhodes use those same words in his press conferences? In my opinion the only way to get things “fixed” is by making a couple changes. The first change is benching the players who are not producing, like Joe Johnson for example. Sherman also might want to take over the offensive play calling; Tom Rossley has got to go. The Packer playbook usually consists of a hundred plays, so why does it look like it consists of ten plays? There is no imagination or rhythm in that offense at all. Sherman keeps insisting that he’ll get things fixed; it’s been the same vanilla offense since last year, when is he going to fix it? I know injuries haven’t helped much, but good teams don’t make excuses. The Packer coaching staff is in need of some serious help with game adjustments. They expected the Cardinals to throw deep all game, but they didn’t have to because the middle of the secondary was wide open all game. Can’t Ed Donatell see this? Third and long for the Cardinals might as well been third and inches, it was that easy! Another example of poor coaching is all the penalties. Lack of proper technique and discipline are the reason for the penalties. The Favre interception in the end zone is a good example of incompetence. On the play Favre locked on to Javon Walker the whole time, so the Cardinal secondary knew where he was going to throw it, which is a mistake a rookie quarterback would make! Now here my favorite part of the play, Javon Walker was running across the field out of the end zone! How can you not know where you are on the football field? Walker is another bust; he constantly runs wrong routes and drops as many as he catches. The only time he produces is when the opposition goes into a prevent defense, garbage time catches is all he’s good for! Maybe I am too critical when it comes to the Packers; it’s hard not to be!   Until next time, STAY SAFE!
