Looking back on this past season there is a need for changes, despite the 12-5 record. Taking in account of all the injuries this could be considered a good season; in my opinion changes need to be made. Frank Novak (special coach) and Tom Rossley (offensive coordinator) should be replaced. I know they are not on the field playing, but coaches get the praise or the axe depending on their players. The offensive play calling, the pass routes, and game plans were terrible! The Packer offense was very predictable and the play calling was too conservative. I understand the injuries to the offensive line may have caused conservative game plans, but what was the excuse last year? There is no excuse, receivers still ran wrong routes causing interceptions and the short yardage offense was among the worst in the N.F.L this year. So bye-bye Rossley! As far as the special teams went this year, I don’t have a week to say what’s wrong with them. So bye-bye Novak!  Coach Sherman must come up with a reason why his team showed no guts or emotion during the last two games. How can players with so much on the line come out of the locker room and don’t give their best? It is one thing to lose and give 100%, but it’s another to accept a paycheck for nothing. The last two games were a disgrace, Sherman must clean house of the players with that kind of attitude. Steve Jackle (head cheese) printed an article early this year saying what a mistake Terry Glenn would be, you were so right Steve! The nickname of “she” given to Glenn by Bill Parcells fits him perfectly. This upcoming draft is deep with talent at wide receiver; hopefully the Packers can get one. Then again, it won’t matter much with Rossley’s “vanilla” offense. Favre will be back for another year, so lets get some imagination on offense! On the defensive side of the ball, the Packers are going to need help at tackle, middle linebacker, and at cornerback. With Gilbert Brown taking cheap shots from the opposition the Packers need a run stuffer desperately. Until Next time, STAY SAFE!
