Well it seems that Randy Moss will get away with acting like a spoiled little brat once again thanks to the Minneapolis justice system. They had him dead to rights on 2 felony counts and just knocked them down to misdemeanors. What about Moss's knockdown of traffic agent Amy Zaccardi? You have got to wonder how she feels about this. After all, she was the one who could have been seriuosly injured or killed by that coddled creep Moss. What will happen next time if she calls for help? What does Moss have to do before the Minnesota justice system does anything to him? I'm willing to bet if he murdered someone that they still wouldn't do anything to him. At least not until the season was over anyway. We wouldn't want all those judges and lawyers not to get their money's worth when they sit in their luxury boxes at the Metrodome now would we? Also, why aren't the Vikings doing something about this? Is Minneapolis becomming the Dallas of the North? Where is Commisioner Tagliabue? This is the kind of "don't make the little rich superstar angry" attitude that sickens me. I guarrantee you that Pete Rozelle would not have put up with this. I suppose it's useless to ask Governor Jesse" Hey Dig Me" Ventura to step out of HIS luxury box to do something. Evidently the law doesn't apply to Pro football players in Minnesota. I hope if anything like that happened in Green Bay that the judicial system would do the right thing and just not slap the player on the wrist.
Now on to another injustice. A person who replied to Steve's article about Moss had some harsh criticism about a few typos in the article. It was signed "editor for hire" with no e-mail address.
This tells me a few things about this person.
1) he or she is a Vikings fan and therefore is mentally incapacitated.( hope I'm not using too many hard words for you "editor for hire" can I call you "ed"?).
2) has low moral character for worrying more about spelling than the criminal act commited by Moss..
3) is a gutless wonder.
A few of you may wonder why I have taken offense to this so I will do my best to answer you.
1) We here at Packer I.Q. are not professional Journalists. We all have full-time jobs and are just football fans who enjoy doing this.
2) Steve is not only my editor, but is also a good friend and I'll be damned if some gutless low-life is going to pick on my friend for something like this.
I know that Steve is probably not going to like my sounding off to "editor for hire" like this and will likely edit this out. But, to all of you who read this, I just want to say that if anyone other than "ed" is offended by this than I am truly sorry.
