After last week’s embarrassing loss to Jacksonville, many people believe the Vikings will not be ready to play this Sunday. With the players bickering in the media, the playoffs out of reach, the frozen tundra, it might be a good possibility. I don’t think they will, this is a rivalry so I think the Vikings would enjoy beating the Packers. I just hope the Packers come ready to play, the Falcons and the Titans showed the Packers not to take a team lightly. The tundra will definitely be frozen, so this is Packer weather, hopefully they will play like it. It certainly would be nice to get the game out of reach as early as possible due to the fact that some players are hurting. As of today it looks like Nate Wayne, John Thierry, and Gilbert Brown might sit this one out. So that gives more playing time to second string players who could use some experience, like Reynolds and Marshall. A blowout would be a nice way of getting them playing time without worrying about a missed assignment, but it could install some confidence also.

    As far as last week’s game goes, Tyrone Williams must have read my article and was out to make a statement. Tyrone played a good game and came up with an interception for a touchdown. It was a good play, but not a great one; the pass was poorly thrown and took a long time to get there. But I will give credit where credit is due; good play Tyrone, good play! Just please don’t get burned on Sunday! So being that I ripped Tyrone and he had a good game, let me try Longwell this week. How can Ryan kick a 54-yard field goal, but his kickoffs struggle to reach the opponents 10 yard-line? Last week did show me one positive thing, Dorsey Levens can still play! Great catch Dorsey!
