Good job Mike! Stay tough Sherman! I am glad Sherman finally became a take-charge coach. I was happy to see that he did not let Freeman get away with being a problem. Freeman is nothing more than a distraction to the team and he is a disgrace to the organization. He refuses to work with the Packers as far as his contract goes and that just shows what a low-life he really is. Other players, Favre, Butler, and Levens are willing to work with Ron Wolf by freeing up salary cap room. Even though Levens may be gone next year, he has stated he understands his situation and wants to remain a Packer. Levens is a class individual, it is a shame that he has worked so hard and has had bad luck. As far as Freeman goes, you can’t let the prisoners run the prison. Get use to the term prisoner, Freeman you will be there some day! Freeman basically was all right until he started socializing with Andre Rison and Charles Jordan. Two players with constant off-field problems had to have some influence on Freeman. You associate with losers, you become a loser, and it is obvious in this case. Just look at what happend to Ray Lewis this summer! The Packers can’t release Freeman due to the fact they will take a huge salary cap hit. What my suggestion is to Ron Wolf is a simple suggestion. Have him on the roster, but never give him any playing time. His career will be over with for good, and he will never see any money again. Let him waste away on the bench! It will be only a matter of time before he screws up and ends up in jail for good.
I will be writing articles through the playoffs so please stay in touch with Packer I.Q. If you have any comments or just want to discuss football in general, please post a reply. I will always get back to you. Just because the Packers season is over, Packer I.Q. is still going strong! If you agree or disagree, or just want to say “hi”, please do so. I will be back next weekend with playoff coverage, talk to you then.
