Last week the Packers proved me wrong by beating the Vikes. Great job Pack! I will be the first to admit when I am wrong, boy was I ever wrong. Great game plan, great hustle by the green and gold. I was right on the money by stating that Tauscher and Clifton would play a solid game. I just can’t say enough good things about those two. The line has blocked well since the addition of Clifton, and even Verba has got better at guard. It is a shame the Jets let us down. We will have to root for the Bears and Saints and keep our fingers crossed.
The game on Sunday was a perfect example of why I did not like those excuses of injuries. There are no excuses, excuses are for losers. The way they played against Carolina was pathetic, especially after Sunday’s performance. You can’t tell me that Bernardo Harris can’t play well every week. He played so well against the Vikings I thought Brian Noble was back on the field. It seems that players today are more concerned with what they are dressed like going to the games. I recently watched an N.F.L. film where players from around the league actually worry about who has the best attire arriving to the games. They worry about this more than making tackles and catching passes. I am not kidding, this is a fact! Players arrive early and tour the locker room early to see what the other players are wearing. That is why there are terrible performances every week in the N.F.L. Keep watching ESPN and you will see the film eventually.
I want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday! Please be safe! For the readers of the Packer I.Q., I want to take the time to let you all know what a great guy the Head Cheese (Steve) and Jim Bacik are. If you get a chance to drop them a line and you will find out what I mean. Steve puts his time and effort so we all can enjoy the Packer I.Q., “THANK YOU STEVE”. “GO PACK”
