Martin Gramatica’s strong leg helped the Bucs defeat the Packers 20-15 this past Sunday. His two field goals over 50 yards helped to bury the Packers, in a hard fought defensive game. The only touchdown the Packers could muster was a fake field goal attempt in which Hasselbeck hit a wide-open Bubba Franks for the score. I nearly fell off my chair watching that play. First for Sherman to call the fake, and secondly that Bubba caught the ball. It seems every week the same players miss tackles and the same players drop passes. For every player that is doing a good job, there is a player that is not doing a good job. Every article after a game I write the same things week after week. A month ago I had mentioned that the Packer should use the hurry up. Well a month later, they did and had no trouble moving the ball. I have stated they should get Lee into the offense more. Lee comes in shows good hands and speed on a 16-yard slant route and then goes back to the bench. You really have to wonder what these coaches look at! Wayne, Rossum, Parker, and the two young tackles turned in a good job on Sunday.

   It is apparent that Holmgren knew what he was doing by letting Green go to the Pack. Even though Green runs hard and has speed, his hands are hurting the team. It appears they should keep Parker as the change of pace back, and look for Levens’ replacement in the draft. T.J. Duckett (Michigan St.) would look good in a Packer uniform if he were available. I am still trying to figure out how Tyrone Davis is still on the roster! It appears Hasselbeck might start this week, due to Favre’s injury. He showed good mobility and the ability to make something out of nothing, but Green fumbled it away. He had Davis drop a pass down the sideline and Franks dropped a forth-down pass that hit him in the numbers. Hasselbeck also showed some rust, but you have to realize he has not practiced with the first team and it showed on certain plays. But then again Favre was not exactly lighting the scoreboard up either. They will drop passes no matter who plays, Favre or Hasselbeck, so I guess it doesn’t matter who starts for the Pack.

   If there is someone out there who possibly can get in touch with Ron Wolf, please give him this message “GET RID OF FREEMAN”. He is an embarrassment to the City of Green Bay, to the other players, and to the entire organization. Cut him; trade him (if someone is stupid enough to pay him). Give him the number to Chumura’s babysitter, what ever it takes; just get rid of him now!
