Hello again Packer fans! What a difference from last season! To have the team start out 2-0 is more than we could have expected. If you don't believe me, just ask the "So-Called" experts that had predicted the Pack would start out 1-4 or worse 0-5.Actually, that very well could have happened. 4 of their first 5 games are against playoff teams from last season. To beat two of them right out of the gate is fantastic. Now mind you I'm predicting a 4-1 or 5-0 start but it gives one a lot to look forward to. The Pack didn't look particularly sharp right out of the chute today, but they put it all together when they beat the Giants 35-13. It's a good thing that the defense got on track in the second half because in the first they had a little trouble stopping the run (or much of anything else). And thank Lombardi we didn't have to rely on our ground attack bcause except for a couple of decent runs late it wasn't much to get excited about. This game sat squarely on the shoulders of Brett and the passing game. I like the way he mixed up his target selection in order to keep the Giant defense off-balance. So congratulations to Brett for being the new holder of the "Most wins by a starting QB" record (Take that Elway!) And with his 3 passing TD's moved him closer to Dan Marino's record. Next up is the always dangerous LaDanain Tomloinson and the San Diego Chargers. If the Defense can keep up the intensity and shut down LT they give The Pack a good chance to win.The offense will just need to play as mistake free as possible and that can happen. Hopefully the "Lambeau Mystique " will return and make playing against Green Bay at home a very scary thing once more. Until next week my friends, SEEEE YAAAAAAH !!!!!!
