Hello all of you loyal Football ^FAN^atics,
With some teams starting their 2007 NFL preseason, with players under some suspicion throughout the league, we will have to wait to find out the verdict in a few more weeks.
Most notably is Michael Vick QB of the Atlanta Falcons. His off the field shenanigans (supposed organizer of illegal dog fighting.) His image within the NFL community has been so upright and his playing ability is phenomenol. So, in my mind the NFL should set an example of him by putting the hammer down on him. That way, other players will see that the league doesn’t cater/or/pick on lesser-known athletes for issuing rules/fines. It should be an-eye-for-an-eye for every athlete.
The other is David Carr former QB of the Houston Texans (#1 draft pick in 2002) and now the QB for the Carolina Panthers. He certainly had a heavy load to carry for the Texans. He had to start every game as a rookie on a first year team in the NFL. He should play an overwhelming position for them as long as his teammates are supportive of his actions both on the field and in practice.
Have a good few weeks. Until my next article, Louie (LOUUP)
