Hello all of you loyal Football ^FAN^atics, Watching a rather lackluster game this past Monday, I thought that an article should be written.
It was on ESPN’s Monday Night football in which the Packers lost to the Up-&-coming Cincinnati Bengals, I had the following thoughts about their performance!
Did Carson Palmer’s game-playing ability exceed Green Bay Packers expectations? One wouldn’t have known that he was injured last season by watching his game performance, as this was his first game starting at QB.
Surely, Brett Favre didn’t look too good with the Packers losing the game, but it is only preseason and a weak offensive line didn‘t help matters anyway. That offensive line looked like they were just going through the motions to make it look like they were playing a game.
Basically, Brett along with his head coach, they need to “Teach” his offensive line they need to show Brett’s strong abilities of playing the game he loves. He looked fairly good but his young receivers didn’t know how to elude their defenders too well.
An ESPN Monday Night football commentator was saying that last season the future Hall of Famer QB should have retired. Then another one said that because of Brett’s love of the game, he wanted to play at least one more season. The Green Bay Packers fans should be very happy that Brett Favre is still leading the Pack as this might be Brett’s “FAVREWELL”tour throughout the 2006 NFL season. Until my next article, keep staying alert as football season is upon us, Louie
