Superbowl fever!

Hello all of you loyal football fans!

I woke up this morning to start a routine of mine, like I have been doing for about the previous 5 years. About 1 minute into my 4 minute exercise-bike riding ritual, I went to wipes some perspiration from my brow, but don’t recall doing that after less than 1 minute. Sweat kept filling up the Kleenex during my remaining 3 minutes. After I am done working out, I eat a large breakfast, but the sweat was still there, so I took a new Kleenex to wipe my whole forehead area. It was like that all through my breakfast, as Superbowl was on my mind alot, during exercising and eating. As soon as I quit thinking about the Superbowl is when my perspiration beads weren’t rolling down my cheeks anymore. That is when I realized that I had Superbowl fever! (<; (<: (<;

I did some investigation into the coaches hired by the many teams that needed that position filled on their team. I kept discovering that nary a team interviewed an Afro-American candidate for a coaching position. Should the NFL look into that potentially precarious situation, which teams a supposed to do throughout the league? After all, roughly 65% of the players in the NFL are Afro-American nationality. I don’t think that the NFL officials will pursue any investigation into this matter but I do believe it should be as teams are constantly hiring coaches!

The Houston Texans recently hired Gary Kubiak. On Thursday’s version (1/26/06) of NFL “Live,” the commentator’s asked him; if they were interested in choosing Reggie Bush as their well earned #1 draft pick. With all of his knowledge, he responded saying taking him doesn’t seem too logical. The Houston Texans need a few players that can protect a good quarterback, plus opening up some huge holes for a good running back. In my mind, they should trade their #1 draft pick for a multiple picks somewhere else in this draft or in future years. David Carr is an excellent quarterback who was sacked 68 times last year. They don’t anticipate an excellent quarterback like David Carr to go through another disheartening season like that in 2006-07.

The only coaching position, which needs to be filled, is by the Oakland Raiders. Personalities between owner Al Davis and the new head coach need to immediately fit together! If they don’t, then it is going to be a very long, long, long year of coaching in the black hole! However, let’s not forget about a wide receiver, Randy Moss, who when not making outstanding plays, has the propensity of walking off the field or sulking on the sideline about not having enough footballs passed to him.

Time to call my next play.  I am going to be talking about the NFL’s MVP, Shaun Alexander. He is going to be a free agent after the Superbowl game is completed for this year. He wants to remain a Seattle Seahawk! He loves his team, coach and it doesn’t matter if we win the Superbowl or not this season but still wants to remain a Seahawk! To keep him there, Seattle Seahawk‘s will have to open-up their pocket books to give him a very wealthy and a worthwhile deal to keep him in town! Basically, if they don’t sign him quick enough, quite a few other teams will be interested in acquiring his services.
