Dear Fellow Football Fans,
I recorded the NFL "Live" show on ESPN channel 35 in the Houghton, Michigan area this past week as it is the start of football season. The teams are already into training-camp. Mike Golic, Merril Hoge and Trey Wingo were the analysts that were on that very informative show, that I make certain to record weekly!
One of them said that the Indianapolis Colts, with all of their talent on the team, surely will be in the Superbowl that culminates the NFL season. They even did a little synopsis about Edgerrin James and reported that he might look to be traded next year. The Miami Dolphins are a team that he has showed interest in becoming a Dolphin! With Rickey Williams retiring so soon in his career, him becoming a Dolphin might seem workable!
Myself, I don’t agree with their speculation. Although, never underestimate the New England Patriots as they are the returning Superbowl champs. They want to try to repeat bringing home the famous Vince Lombardi trophy! Corey Dillion was even acquired during the off-season by the New England Patriots.
Also a team to keep an eye on is the Washington Redskins! Joe Gibbs is bound to bring alot of enthusiasm to the team that he brought the Superbowl trophy home to! Coach, Joe Gibbs, has a quaterback that he can rely in 11 year veteran, Mark Brunnel. Plus, a running back who only fumbled 1 time in 13 games that he played for the Denver Broncos last year, who’s name is Clinton Portis. On my next article, I will make my predictions.
A team that I am not very fond of has been all over the headlines. It is none other than the Dallas Cowboys! Their head-coach has released their starting quarterback, Quincy Carter, eventhough, he has shown signs that he deserves to be the starting QB. Is this what Bill Parcels wanted for Vinnie Testaverde (age 41). Is this another one of Bill Parcels’s traditions or old habits??!!
I am still waiting to hear "Are You Ready For Some Football?" on my TV! Gods Peace and Love to you! Sincerely, LOU^U.P.^
