In what was the most sound beating Green Bay gave anyone this year the 35-13 thrashing of Seattle was a pleasure to watch for the most part. Brett Favre put up 185 yds and 3 tds against a Seahawk team that until last Sunday looked like a play-off contender.5 straight touchdown drives in a row definetly got the attention of not only the Packer faithful, but to most NFL fans as well. Add in Ahman Green going over a 100 yds again, the line giving Favre decent protection and the receivers catching just about everything and you have to wonder what happened in Tempe a week earlier. The defense was pretty good except that it still has trouble stopping the run.Thankfully Seattle got behind early in the 3rd quarter and had to all but abandon their running game. This week they face Priest Holmes who is probably giving defensive coordinator Ed Donatel nightmares.Holmes is the kind of back that can make something out of nothing and do it very well and very often. If the Pack is to win this game they have got to play the run to near perfection. That means not only containing Holmes , but making sure they tackle him before the big play even has a chance to start. This has been the biggest weakness on D so far this season. This game is literally in the hands of the defense, because if they can't get them wrapped around Holmes and stop him in his tracks it will be a very long afternoon for the Green and Gold. And if that wasn't enough they have got to keep kick returner Dante Hall from going coast to coast which all the teams he has faced this season will tell you is damn near impossible. Til next week fellow Packer fanatics..........SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!!
