Well it goes to show ya after the Denver game that the Packers are not playing well and that after looking back the packers were 2 minutes away from being 1 - 5. Fortunately they are 4 - 2 and a top the Central divison. Big game coming up with the Monday Nighter against the Seahawks lets hope this is the begining of a run.
Even though they won big, it was the two interceptions at the goal line that turned the tide for San Diego and keep the pressure on them. It was a nice win and I was glad they were able to pull Favre in the fourth quarter. I know my heart could not take another last minute drive to win the game. The pack came up big with the two interceptions, both were real nice plays. Every DB got one except for Butler so it was a good effort all around. It helps that the former bears quarterbacks through some real shitty passes.
The hype is beginning for Holmgren's return. I hope that the Packers are sky high because I know that Lambeau will be rockin. This will be an interesting matchup with the Teacher going against the student. The Sherminator versus his old boss. Can the pack defense it's own offence. Can Seattle stop a more refined and explosive image of itself. Monday Night will be huge. I may not even flip between Raw and Nitro.
Kudos to the Badgers for smoking the Spartins. I will have a front row seat as the Badgers invade Evanston and Ryan Field. I hope to see the great Dayne run himself back into the Heisman picture.
