All the media is hyping the Packer-Giant game because of Michael Strahan chance to break the sack record. The Packers should be more concerned about the run defense, which has been a joke the last three weeks. There is a strong possibility Strahan will break the record on Sunday, that’s fine with me. All I want is a victory and better run defense. Mike Sherman has got to fix this problem in a hurry; I can just picture Tiki Barber with 150 yards and 2 touchdowns this Sunday. It appears Nate Wayne will be back from his back injury, but how affective he will be remains to be seen. Opposing running backs have turned the corners and used cut backs to slice the Packers defense. A healthy Nate Wayne would help considerably due to his speed and nose for the ball. On the offensive side, Brett Favre is facing two young cornerbacks that couldn’t cover a twin bed, so the Packers should put some points on the board. The dropped passes and lack of a running game has really slowed down the offense, so the offensive unit as a whole must step up on Sunday. It appears since the offensive line has been rotating it’s lineup, the running game has vanished. If Marco Rivera can’t go a whole game, sit him! I would rather see a healthy Earl Dotson than an injured Rivera. I know Brett Favre has input in the game plan, but I think Rossley should get more input from Brett. The play calling basically stinks week after week. The reverse to Donald Driver was a nice call, but that’s been about it. Hopefully they will get some rollouts, screens, and draws in the game plan. Well enjoy the game Packer Backers and stay safe!
