After all that has happened due to these cowards, the nation can tune in Monday night and try to be entertained. There is no better place for football fans to be entertained than at Lambeau Field. It will be impossible to forget what our nation is dealing with, but hopefully we can get some enjoyment out of this game. I think it will be very interesting to see how the Washington players will react because of what they have dealt with over the past week and a half. I am glad to see the players have so much compassion for the victims and their families in a time of crisis. A.B.C. could not have had a better place for Monday Night Football than Lambeau, home of America’s team, THE GREEN BAY PACKERS!
The two teams were completely opposite in week one, The Skins looking terrible and the Pack looking great. Jeff George will get the start on Monday for Washington while Tony Banks waits on the sideline. After a bad performance against the Chargers, it was possible George was going to be benched. It looks like we can add another team that has discovered what a loser Jeff George really is! As for the Pack, they might be without Dorsey Levens who has been bothered by a bad back. If that’s the case, look for Rondell Mealey to back up Ahman Green. We might even see Jamal Reynolds for a few plays in passing situations, only if the “beer man” needs a breather. And speaking of the “beer man”(Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila #94) 3 sacks in week one, the man was relentless! Great job Kabeer!
I know we have all heard what a great job the cops and firemen did during this tragedy, but I will never forget it and I hope you also. I live 30 minutes from the World Trade Center and the stories of bravery are just countless! I also had a loved one who was in the building at the time of the attack; I thank God she was all right. No matter what part of the country you are from please appreciate the job your local police and firemen do for us, they are the true heroes! I would love to hear the crowd slip in a chant of “GO AMERICA GO”, instead of the usual “GO PACK GO” during the game. It might be a nice way of showing the country that Packer fans are not only great fans, but great Americans also! If anyone is attending the game, please keep it in mind. Well I hope everyone in Packerland will enjoy the game, but most of all enjoy your family!
