This weekend was a classic example of what playoff football is really about. Every game, except for the Vikings-Saints game went under the total (depending on your line). You might call it boring, but defense wins playoff games. Even the Vikings looked better on defense, but then again, no Joe Horn and no Ricky Williams! I enjoyed the Ray Lewis vs. Eddie George match up; it was Sam Huff vs. Jim Brown all over again. Say what you want about Sapp, but Ray Lewis is the best defensive player in the game, hands down! Great game by Michael Strahan, he tossed Jon Runyan around like a rag doll. It is about time Strahan started earning his paycheck. It is very possible the Vikings are going to the Super Bowl, a team the Packers beat twice! I have always been a N.F.C. guy myself, but I think the Raiders have too much balance on offense for any team to deal with. If it were the Giants and Ravens, what would the over/under be, (27)! I predicted the Raiders in the beginning of the season to win it all, I still feel confident in my prediction. Rumor has it, that the Giants will be letting Jason Sehorn cover Moss one on one! To take a quote from Robert Shaw (Quint) in Jaws, “farewell and ado to you fare Spanish ladies, etc…) If Fassel is serious about this strategy, Sehorn will be on Law and Order before you could say “Angie Harmon”(Jason’s fiancée). Nicky “the nose” has given two winners so far, we shall see if anything looks good for this weekend. I have a new friend out there who reads Packer I.Q., known only as “interested”. Thanks for your kind words, and yes, I am interested! Please leave an email address and I will reply. This Tuesday, ten trivia questions for your enjoyment. GET READY DUFF KINNEY! The questions won’t be easy!
