Rossum ropes Colts

Allen Rossum ran a Colt kickoff for a 92-yard touchdown to lead the Packers to victory over the Colts on Sunday. With the Colts charging back, Rossum streaked down the right sidelines for the score. The Packers were in control for most of the game and then let the Colts back in by going into a prevent mode on defense. It was only a matter of time before Rossum would be rewarded for his solid efforts. He has not only returned kicks, but also played some offense and defensive back for the Packers. Allen is one of the few Packers that has been solid week in and week out this year. Keep it up Allen!

I know I have spent most of my articles talking about the poor efforts given by the players, so I think it ‘s time from some praise. I have not mentioned what a gutsy job that has been done by John Thierry this year. He has not been 100% all year and still gives it his all every week. Bowens, Dotson, and Maryland have all played better than I thought they would this year. I like the way Nate Wayne has stepped in for Williams; he has shown he has a nose for the ball, and the speed to get there. Like most Packer Backers, I could not handle watching Sharper try to make plays before this year. He has improved remarkably from years past and deserves a trip to Hawaii this year. I am really enjoying watching Clifton and Tauscher play tackle, they are just getting better and better each week.

Last but not least, it is time to talk about Mr. Favre and Mr. Winters. Frank has always given toughness and stability every week and really should be appreciated more than he is. Brett Favre, the ultimate tough guy, and this past Sunday he has reminded me what a leader he is on the field. He has stepped up and got his game back on track. His play early in the year was so bad; I thought he might be finished for good. I am glad you have proved me wrong Brett, see you in Canton! I want to take the time to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Please be safe and enjoy the food and drink! I will have a new article on the 24th so have a good holiday.
