PackerIQ.com - About Us
Created by and dedicated to Green Bay Packer and NFL fans everywhere, the interactive
Packer fan site PackerIQ.com was founded
by Racine, Wisconsin native Steve Jackle in July
1999. The PackerIQ.com name was conceived to reflect an educational and entertaining
resource for the community of Packer fans to build their Packer IQ.
Being part of this community ourselves, we fully understand the
importance of personal privacy. The PackerIQ.com Privacy Policy
was created to ensure that no unsolicited emails will be sent to registered
players and registered players personal information will not be shared with
outside companies or web sites.
In addition to the NFL
schedules and NFL game results,
here are the interactive features that PackerIQ.com currently provides to the
visitors and registered players of our web site.
- The official PackerIQ.com trivia game
provides an entertaining and challenging competition for registered players
to show their Green Bay Packer trivia knowledge. Packer fans of all ages can
select their trivia questions by subject category or difficulty level. The
Trivia standings page
provides the rankings of the players in the game. The trivia questions for
this game are created and verified by the PackerIQ.com staff.
- The Tundra Trivia Game provides
an opportunity for registered players to submit and answer trivia questions
about the Green Bay Packers and the NFL. This section is called Tundra trivia
because the PackerIQ.com staff does not verify the questions. The Tundra
Standings page provides the rankings of the players in this game.
- The NFL Picks Contest provides
armchair NFL analysts an opportunity to predict the outcome of the NFL games.
The Pick Distribution
page contains a graphical representation of the choices of the players picking
the week's games. This page is intended to aid players in picking their games.
The Picks Standings page
shows the overall standings of the contest, and individual pick results for
the week and year. The prizes for this contest are directly related to the
sales at the PackerIQ.com store.
- The PackerIQ.com Experts
section provides the latest articles and news regarding the Green Bay Packers
and the NFL. Visitors and Registered players have an opportunity to reply to the opinions
of the PackerIQ.com columnist staff either by email to the columnist or replying
to the article so all visitors of the site can see their comments.
- The PackerIQ.com store
contains merchandise for the all the NFL, NBA, NHL, and college teams. We
also have NASCAR gear for all you racing fans. We are partnered with an order
fulfillment company called Football Fanatics

- Steve Jackle Steve
is the founder and owner of PackerIQ.com. He grew up a Packer fan in Racine,
Wisconsin. Currently, he lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is the chief
developer and web master for PackerIQ.com. His column Head Cheese provides visitors
with information regarding the Green Bay Packers, the NFL, and the latest
happenings with PackerIQ.com.
- Intense Intense
joined the PackerIQ.com in September of 1999. He also is from Racine, Wisconsin
and now resides in Wheeling, Illinois in Chicago Bear country. His column
Intense One provides
a Green Bay Packers stockholder view of the Packers and the NFL.
- Jim Bacik Jim is
one of our senior content partners and contributors. He joined the PackerIQ.com
staff in July of 2000. He currently lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the
heart of Green Bay Packer country. From
the Cheap Seats provides a passionate view of the Green Bay Packers from
a die-hard Packer fan.
- Bill Gallagher-
Another senior member, Bill joined the PackerIQ.com staff in September of
2000. The Pack Like-It
Is, like the name entails, is a no-nonsense of view of the Green Bay Packers.
- Louie Depudyt
Louie joined the staff in February of 2002. He currently resides in the Upper Peninsula of
Michigan and is a Minnesota Vikings fan. His column, Lou^Up^, provides an
upbeat view of the NFL from a Vikings fan.
- Mindbldr
Mindbldr( pronounced "Mind Builder")joined our staff in August 2003. He currently resides in Carolina Panthers country in
central North Carolina. He does not have any particular team affiliation and is equality
critical of all teams. His "Just A Thought" column provides a cynical, sarcastic, and thought provoking view of the NFL.
- The Red
The Red, who is from up state New York, became a huge Packer fan in the mid-80s watching Walter Stanley and Lynn Dickey.
Like many true Packer fans , he has respect for the Lombardi years, but he prefers to wear his favorite 80s players jerseys with pride when visiting Lambeau.
His Old Days Revisited column provides a view of the Packers from a 80s mind.
- Gary Sheldon
Gary is the most recent addition to the PackerIQ.com staff. He is from Rhinelander, Wisconsin and helps to create
the "Pack Talk" radio show on MyHometownSports.com. He is passionate about the Packers and will definately provide his well thought-out opinions
in his column 4th and 26.
- A Pack Phan
Though he is no longer an active member of PackerIQ.com, this Wisconsin native
was one the original contributors to PackerIQ.com . His Upon Further Review
articles provided a well-written insight to the Green Bay Packers for the
1999-2000 seasons.
